There is an MHSAA regulation that is termed the “Limited Team Membership” rule, which states that students may not play a club sport in the same season as the same school sport (i.e. a basketball player who plays for Byron Center could not play for an AAU basketball team at the same time as the school season). However, there are some new exceptions to this rule, which may allow students to compete in a certain number of events outside of their school sport. If you have any questions regarding a specific sport, please contact the athletic office.

Please remember that your child MUST have a sport physical on file in our office prior to trying out for any sport.
