Childcare Options
Byron Center Public Schools offers a variety of childcare options. Whether it's before or after school care for students, daycare for infants six weeks to three-years-old, or childcare for students over the summer, we have something to fit your family's needs.
Before/After School Care
Before and after school care is available for students DK through 4th grade. Children will participate in creative projects, group games, and much more.
- Before School: 6:30 am - 8:30 am
- After School: 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm
- Breakfast and afternoon snacks are provided
- Students attend care at their home school (Brown, Countryside, or Marshall)
- Care available on non-school days, snow days, and half days for additional cost
Cost:
- Before AND After Care 1-3 days/week = $100/week OR 4-5 days/week = $130/week
- Before Care Only 1-3 days/week = $55/week OR 4-5 days/week = $65/week
- After Care Only 1-3 days/week = $65/week OR 4-5 days/week = $75/week
*Tuition is billed weekly
**$100 non-refundable registration fee, $50 will go towards tuition
***A holding fee will be charged to guarantee a spot for fall, if summer care is not needed
Room to Bloom Childcare
A loving environment will ensure your child is comfortable while away from home. Sensory, language, and gross motor activities will support your child’s growth and development in our Infant, Waddler, and Toddler rooms.
Infant & Waddler Room
- This program is for children six weeks to two-years-old
- It runs 7:00 am - 5:30 pm
Cost: 1-3 days/week = $225/week OR 4-5 days/week = $280/week
*$100 non-refundable registration fee, $50 will go towards tuition
**A holding fee will be charged to guarantee a spot for fall, if summer care is not needed
Toddler Room
- This program is for children two to three-years-old
- It runs 7:00 am - 5:30 pm
- Breakfast, morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack provided
Cost: 1-3 days/week = $230/week OR 4-5 days/week = $290/week
*$100 non-refundable registration fee, $50 will go towards tuition

Summer Care
This program provides exciting activities, field trips, water play, and academic plans that keep school skills sharp, all while having a memorable summer.
- The program runs June 6 - Aug. 23, 2023
- It's from 6:30 am - 5:30 pm
- Care is held at Brown Elementary
- Tuition includes breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, and field trips
Cost:
- 1-3 days/week = $185/week
- 4-5 days/week = $240/week
